Concert Series
The Happening Festival of New Music and Media 2012 is four days of sonic discovery, highlighting established and emerging practices in sound and music.
2011/12 revisits the UCalgary String Quartet Special Series, featuring a celebration of Brahms with one of today’s greatest living pianists, Anton Kuerti.
The Monday Night Jazz Series returns with six of the most exciting jazz concerts to date
This season we are providing concert goers with the exciting opportunity to experience two organ concerts
Every year student performance majors from the Department of Music are required to perform a student recital. These recitals are free and open to the general public.
Every year, our talented students come together in choral and instrumental ensembles to flex their musical abilities and perform for audiences made up of not just their professors and peers, but the public!
2011/12 will continue to provide audiences with a distinctive array of concert music
Throughout the year, the Department of Music hosts a variety of masterclasses which are open to students and the general public.
2011/12 will continue our journey of striking music from around the world, featuring both traditional and world instruments
